6 officials of the Ministry of National Defense have resigned from their leadership positions, awaiting retirement.

On February 17, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed decisions on six officials of the Ministry of National Defense to cease their leadership positions, pending retirement.

According to Decision No. 306, Major General Bui To Viet ceased to hold the position of Deputy Political Commissar of the Air Defense - Air Force Service, Ministry of National Defense , and retired from work from May 1, 2025 to retire according to the regime from May 1, 2026.

In Decision No. 307, Rear Admiral Phan Tuan Hung ceased to hold the position of Deputy Commander of the Navy, Ministry of National Defense, and retired from work from March 1, 2025 to retire according to the regime from July 1, 2025.

In Decision No. 308, Major General Dang Van Hung ceased to hold the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 7, Ministry of National Defense, retired from work from March 1, 2025, to retire according to the regime from September 1, 2025.

According to Decision No. 309, Lieutenant General Tran Duy Giang ceased to hold the position of Chief of the General Department of Logistics, Ministry of National Defense, and retired from work from March 1, 2025 to retire from July 1, 2025.

According to Decision No. 310, Major General Le Van Phuc ceased to hold the position of Deputy Commander of the Border Guard, Ministry of National Defense, and retired from work from May 1, 2025 to retire from January 1, 2026.

In Decision No. 311, Major General Hoang Van Huu ceased to hold the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 1, Ministry of National Defense, retired from work from March 1, 2025, continued to perform the duties of a National Assembly delegate until the end of his term, then retired according to the prescribed regime.

While awaiting retirement, the above 6 officers will retain their current benefits according to current regulations.
