Halal standard, diverse choices

Tan Son Nhat International Airport welcomes a large number of tourists from South Asia, the Middle East, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. This demonstrates the importance of international Halal standards in the service sector. The highlight of the Indian menu at the Phoenix Restaurant system and Fresh2Go convenience store chain is the carefully selected ingredients, processing, preservation and service style that strictly follow global Halal rules.

For rice, passengers have a wide range of flavours to choose from, from signature grilled dishes, authentic Indian curries, to healthy vegetarian options. Each dish is also refined to become a new experience but easy to enjoy for all diners.

“Halal standards are a respect for all cultures. For Vietnamese passengers, Halal is also synonymous with international quality and peace of mind,” said a SASCO representative.

Indian cuisine, suitable for Vietnamese taste

Behind the dishes is chef Mohamed Saliem, a son of Indian culture with many years of experience running Halal restaurants and Indian cuisine in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. This chef's strength is the ability to maintain the spirit of traditional cuisine, while also creating spices to suit international tastes.

Indian cuisine at the airport is not only for international visitors from South Asia and the Middle East, but also conquers young Vietnamese who love new experiences. Mr. Mohamed Saliem affirmed: "Indian cuisine is a colorful picture. I want to bring that picture to diners in Vietnam, but still maintain the sophistication so that everyone can enjoy and love it," said this chef.

SASCO’s “Pioneer Conquest” journey is demonstrated by the constant innovation of the airport dining experience, offering passengers a variety of diverse and unique options. Authentic Indian cuisine with international Halal certification is a vivid demonstration and a cultural bridge, allowing visitors to experience diversity, integration and convenience right at the most vibrant airport gateway in Vietnam.
