Bac Ninh promotes supply-demand connection, bringing Vietnamese goods to rural and remote areas

According to Bac Ninh Newspaper and Radio and Television, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh signed and issued Official Document No. 3901/UBND-KTTH to implement Prime Minister's Directive No. 179/CĐ-TTg dated September 29, 2025, with the focus on promoting the role of the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" campaign, in conjunction with trade promotion programs and connecting supply and demand for goods in the province.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province requested that departments, agencies, and localities closely coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to implement comprehensive communication programs and specific actions to promote the quality of domestically produced products and encourage people to consume Vietnamese goods on domestic and international e-commerce platforms.

At the same time, the province will organize many trade promotion activities and concentrated promotional programs, strengthening the connection between supply and demand, bringing Vietnamese goods to rural, mountainous, remote areas and economically disadvantaged areas, helping people access quality goods at reasonable prices.

Bac Ninh also encourages businesses to collaborate with Vietnamese agricultural product exchanges to circulate and sell OCOP products and local specialties, while increasing participation in product displays at the Autumn Fair 2025, one of the major trade events of the year.

In addition, the Department of Finance is tasked with leading and coordinating with relevant agencies to advise on balancing the local budget and allocating funds for trade promotion activities, especially important events such as the 2025 Autumn Fair, the Fruit Festival, and the Bac Ninh 2025 Agricultural Products and Goods Fair and Exhibition. Monitoring and managing prices, especially for essential goods, will also be strengthened to ensure market stability and support businesses in selling their products.

Simultaneously, the Bac Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will focus on promoting tourism programs linked to cultural events, festivals, and trade promotion, aiming to create highlights to attract tourists and stimulate consumption of goods and services in the locality. The province is orienting the development of the cultural and entertainment industries, both serving the enjoyment needs of the people and promoting the commercialization of distinctive cultural products.

Regarding the State Bank of Vietnam's regional branch 12, credit institutions are directed to strengthen digital transformation in loan processes, shorten approval times, enhance transparency, and support businesses in accessing capital quickly. Flexible credit packages with preferential interest rates will be studied to encourage domestic production, business, and consumption.

Communes, wards, and towns are also required to proactively implement trade promotion programs and support the consumption of local products, especially within the framework of the Bac Ninh Fruit Festival and Agricultural Products Fair and Exhibition 2025. At the same time, the Provincial Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and the Bac Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association are tasked with regularly monitoring market demand, reflecting the difficulties faced by members, and proposing timely solutions to help businesses confidently invest in production.

These coordinated actions demonstrate Bac Ninh province's determination to develop the domestic economy, boost consumption of Vietnamese goods, expand rural markets, support businesses and people in recovering production, and contribute to maintaining stable and sustainable growth in the latter half of 2025.
