In his opening remarks, Major General Do Dinh Thanh emphasized that, over the years, the logistics and technical branches of the armed forces have proactively advised and implemented comprehensive measures to ensure the material and logistical standards for troops, despite facing many difficulties due to rising prices, natural disasters, and complex epidemics. The 2025 Logistics and Technical Branch Competition itself demonstrates the increasingly improved quality of management, material and equipment support, and the skills of logistics and technical officers and personnel, with many good models and effective practices at the unit level.
Regarding the implementation of Decree No. 76/2016/ND-CP, the report at the conference clearly indicated that, thanks to the leadership and guidance of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense , the Signal Corps overcame many difficulties due to the dispersed organization of units, thin personnel; natural disasters, epidemics, and fluctuating market prices. Units throughout the corps ensured sufficient military supplies, with food rations exceeding 3,200-3,500 kcal/person/day, 100% of units achieving the "Excellent Unit in Troop Feeding and Good Military Supply Management" award; and provided military equipment promptly and in accordance with regulations. Building on these achievements, in the coming period, the Signal Corps needs to strive to increase the allocation of materials, field uniforms, and medical linens; expand storage space and filing cabinets; and strengthen medical support for military personnel.
