The Vietnam - Japan U13 International Youth Football Tournament opened at Sora Gardens Links football field (Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province) on the afternoon of December 12.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Ito Naoki - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam congratulated the youth football teams of football clubs from Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam.

At the same time, there was a speech, positive evaluation of the successes of the tournament, as well as the continuous support of organizations, businesses and individuals who have contributed to the success of the tournament in the past time.
This is a testament to the continuous coordination and support of businesses, especially Becamex IDC Corporation and Tokyu Group, in maintaining the tournament, providing a healthy and beneficial playground for the young generation of the countries.
The tournament took place from December 11 to 15 with the participation of 12 youth football teams from professional football clubs in Vietnam including: Becamex Binh Duong, Hanoi , An Giang, Hue, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap; teams from Japan including: Kawasaki Frontale, Vegaltasendai, Shimizu Spulse, Yokohama FC, FC Tokyo and Felda Academy team from Malaysia.
The organizing committee presented flowers and souvenir flags to representatives of the teams participating in the tournament.
Right after the Opening Ceremony, there was an exciting match with very high professional quality between the U13 Becamex Binh Duong team and the U13 Kawasaki Frontale team. The home team won 1-0 in the first match.
The Vietnam - Japan U13 International Youth Football Tournament was first held in 2018, marking the beginning of a meaningful sports playground, contributing to strengthening the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
This year, the tournament continues to be held in the context of increasingly strong Vietnam - Japan relations, while affirming the important role of sports exchange in building cultural bridges and international cooperation.
The tournament received the support of many domestic and foreign football teams, once again affirming the increasingly close friendship between Vietnam and Japan.
The two teams U13 Becamex Binh Duong and U13 Kawasaki Frontale competed enthusiastically right after the opening ceremony of the tournament.
The event is not only a sports playground, but also a symbol of the spirit of cooperation and mutual understanding, contributing to building a cultural bridge and strengthening international cooperation. This is also a very impressive highlight in the field of international cooperation of the sports industry of Binh Duong province.
Through the tournament, young players have more opportunities to learn from each other, improve their skills and promote the development of regional football.
