Ministry of Science and Technology offers incense to commemorate martyrs of the Postal sector in Tay Ninh

On August 23, the working delegation of the Ministry of Science and Technology offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the Fatherland at the Martyrs' Cemetery of the Information and Postal Industry "R", and the Martyrs' Cemetery of Hill 82 in Tay Ninh province.

On behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung expressed his deep gratitude to the relatives of martyrs' families, those who contributed to the revolution, and the comrades who served in the postal sector throughout the years.

The incense sticks offered to the heroic martyrs today represent the resolute promise of the entire staff, officials, employees, and workers of the Post and Telecommunications and Science and Technology sectors to worthily inherit the glorious revolutionary cause that the heroes and martyrs have passed on.

Inheriting and upholding the heroic and indomitable traditions of previous generations, the entire sector is striving to compete in learning, training, labor, and production, promoting the spirit of "Pioneering - Creative - Breakthrough - Dedication - Loyalty - Compassion" of the Post and Telecommunications and Science and Technology sectors, and with the motto "Setting an example, maintaining discipline, focusing on key areas, and achieving breakthroughs," actively participating in patriotic emulation movements, excellently fulfilling all tasks, and contributing to the building and protection of the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

On behalf of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung expressed gratitude for the assistance of the Party committees, government, Fatherland Front, and departments and organizations of Tay Ninh province in directing and coordinating with units of Vietnam Post Corporation and VNPT Group to care for and maintain the graves of nearly 250 martyrs in the cemetery, ensuring they remain well-maintained, warm, bright, clean, and beautiful. This is a testament to the gratitude and respect for the noble sacrifices of previous generations.

As part of the program, the delegation visited and offered incense at the Hill 82 Martyrs' Cemetery, the resting place of thousands of cadres, soldiers, and volunteer youth who bravely sacrificed their lives in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland.

At the Traditional House of the Central Postal and Communications Committee's Base Area in Southern Vietnam, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, along with leaders of Tay Ninh province and representatives of the Southern Postal and Communications Resistance Tradition Club, offered incense and cut the ribbon to inaugurate the new nameplate of the Traditional House.
