The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed to focus on ensuring the safety of the dike system during the 2025 flood season.

BAC NINH - Under the order of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman, Deputy Chief of Office Ngo Van Luyen has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 182/UBND-KTN requesting the Department of Agriculture and Environment and People's Committees of communes and wards in the province to focus on ensuring the safety of the dike system during the flood season of 2025.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with localities to inspect and review all dike constructions and dike protection plans throughout the province; and to prepare manpower, materials, vehicles, and equipment to proactively deploy in case of incidents or situations according to the "four on-the-spot" principle.

In particular, special attention should be paid to assigning and delegating responsibilities, clearly defining the responsibilities of each agency, unit, and individual for implementation; absolutely avoiding passivity, surprises, and disruptions in the process of rearranging and organizing the two-tiered local government.

Urgently complete the repair and remediation of damage to dike structures in the area as directed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha in document No. 5183/VPCP-NN dated June 11, 2025; report the situation and results of implementation to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee before July 25, 2025.
