Rescue 9 people on a fishing boat capsized by storm Wipha

On July 22, the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) informed that the working group of Waterway Division 1 (Traffic Police Department) had just rescued 9 people on a fishing boat that capsized due to storm Wipha.

Nine people on a fishing boat capsized by storm Wipha have been rescued.

At around 9:00 a.m. the same day, the working group of Water Division 1 discovered that the fishing boat with registration number QNg 92614-TS, controlled by captain Tran Thanh Phap (born in 1983, from Quang Ngai ), had been overturned and sunk by a tornado on the Chanh River (Quang Yen ward, Quang Ninh province).

At the time of the incident, there were 9 people on the fishing boat. Immediately, the task force mobilized a ship with 8 officers and soldiers to urgently approach the scene, promptly supporting the entire crew to safely return to shore, and at the same time organizing the rescue of the drifting fishing boat's assets.
