4th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Business Club in Ho Chi Minh City and the South

On the afternoon of November 24th, Mr. Nguyen Van Thi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the 4th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Business Club in Ho Chi Minh City and the South, for the term 2024-2029.

Currently, the Thanh Hoa Business Club in Ho Chi Minh City and the South has 236 members. During the 2019-2024 term, amidst numerous difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the global economic downturn, the Club carried out many practical and effective activities, connecting members to cooperate, share, and support each other in production and business.

In addition, the club has proactively coordinated with Thanh Hoa province to organize investment promotion events in Ho Chi Minh City and other southern provinces; and actively participated in community activities. Over the past 5 years, club members have contributed approximately 30 billion VND to support people nationwide and in Thanh Hoa province affected by natural disasters and epidemics, assist the poor, fund scholarships; and provide support for the lives of hundreds of orphaned children during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For the 2024-2025 term, the Club aims to increase its new membership by 10% each year compared to the previous year; continue to coordinate and organize investment promotion activities, connect the business community, and promote charitable and humanitarian activities in its hometown and other provinces and cities nationwide.

Speaking at the Congress, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi congratulated the Thanh Hoa Business Club in Ho Chi Minh City and the South on its achievements and results during the past term, and highly appreciated and sincerely thanked the Club for its contributions to the development of the province.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: The Party Committee and the government of Thanh Hoa province always encourage and call on businesses, including those owned by people from Thanh Hoa, to invest and develop in their homeland. The province will always accompany and provide maximum support for businesses to develop production and business in the province.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his wish that the Club members would always maintain their integrity, strive to improve, enhance their competitiveness, strengthen linkages, and proactively participate in global value chains to continuously grow stronger and make positive contributions to the development of the provinces and cities where the businesses are located and their hometown of Thanh Hoa.

On this occasion, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Thi, presented Certificates of Commendation from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa to collectives and individuals belonging to the Club who have achieved outstanding results in production, business activities and social welfare work during the period 2019-2024.
