The respectful offerings to the ancestors include 18 Chung cakes prepared by the Cam Khe district delegation and 18 Giay cakes prepared by the Yen Lap district delegation, each weighing 1kg. These are the two localities with teams winning the first prize in the "Wrapping, cooking Chung cakes and pounding Giay cakes" contest in 2023. Of which, Cam Khe district's Chung cake product has won the first prize for three consecutive years (from 2021-2023), Yen Lap district's Giay cake product has won the first prize for two consecutive years (2023, 2024).

Delegates offer incense at the Upper Palace

From the quintessential fragrant rice grains of heaven and earth, the talented hands of local folk artisans have created traditional cakes that are both beautiful and delicious. This is an offering that shows the heart towards the origin of the generations of Lac Hong descendants in memory of their ancestors.

Each banh chung and banh giay weighs 1kg.

At Kinh Thien Palace on the top of Nghia Linh Mountain, the delegation of leaders and folk artists representing the people of the two districts respectfully offered 18 Chung cakes and 18 Day cakes to the Hung Kings, expressing their gratitude to their ancestors and praying for national peace, people's peace, and the longevity of all families.
