
Each delegation prepared 18 cakes to offer to King Hung.
The offerings respectfully presented to the ancestors included 18 sticky rice cakes (bánh chưng) from the Cẩm Khê district delegation and 18 sticky rice cakes (bánh giầy) from the Yên Lập district delegation, each weighing 1kg. These are the two localities whose teams won first prize in the 2023 "Wrapping, Cooking Sticky Rice Cakes and Pounding Sticky Rice Cakes" competition. Specifically, the sticky rice cakes from Cẩm Khê district have won first prize for three consecutive years (2021-2023), and the sticky rice cakes from Yên Lập district have won first prize for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024).

From the finest fragrant rice grains of nature, the skillful hands of local folk artisans have created traditional cakes that are both beautiful and delicious. These cakes are offerings that express the heartfelt devotion of generations of Lac and Hong descendants to their ancestors.


Each sticky rice cake (bánh chưng, bánh giầy) weighs 1kg.
At Kinh Thien Palace on Nghia Linh mountain peak, the delegation of leaders and folk artisans representing the people of the two districts respectfully offered 18 banh chung (square sticky rice cakes) and 18 banh giay (round sticky rice cakes) to the Hung Kings, expressing their sincere gratitude for the merits of their ancestors and praying for national peace and prosperity, and for the eternal well-being of all families.
