From December 9-11, 2024, in Hanoi, Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Member of the Secretariat, and Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee , presided over the 52nd session of the Committee.
At this meeting, the Central Inspection Committee (CIC) reviewed and continued to implement the conclusions of the CIC at its 45th session regarding the Party Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, and at its 50th session regarding the Party Committee of the Ministry of Transport and a number of related party organizations and members.
Based on Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to reprimand Comrade Nguyen Van Huyen, former Secretary of the Party Committee and Director General of the Vietnam Road Administration, and reported to the competent authority to consider and impose disciplinary measures on a number of Party members involved in violations and shortcomings in the Dai Ninh Urban Area project and in personnel work in Lam Dong province.

Reviewing the results of inspections on the implementation of tasks related to inspection, supervision, and disciplinary enforcement within the Party, and the inspection of Party finances for the Standing Committee and the Inspection Committee of the Provincial and City Party Committees; and the inspection of asset and income declarations for officials under the management of the Politburo and the Secretariat in the provinces and cities of Da Nang, Dong Nai, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, the Central Inspection Committee found that, in addition to the strengths and achievements, the inspected Party organizations and members also had some violations and shortcomings in leadership, direction, and organization of the implementation of tasks related to inspection, supervision, and disciplinary enforcement within the Party; in the management and use of Party finances and assets; and in the declaration of assets and income.
The Central Inspection Commission requests that the inspected Party organizations and Party members continue to promote their strengths; conduct serious self-criticism, learn from experience, promptly rectify the violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out, and report the results to the Central Inspection Commission.

The Standing Committee of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee and its members still have some violations, shortcomings, and limitations in leading and directing the development and implementation of the Working Regulations; the operation of border economic zones and border crossings; in leading and directing the Provincial Police to perform their assigned functions and tasks; and in declaring assets and income.
The Standing Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee and its members still have some violations, shortcomings, and limitations in leadership and direction in the development and implementation of the Working Regulations; personnel work; management and use of land in investment projects outside the state budget; and declaration of assets and income.
The Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Military Region 4 and the Navy. Furthermore, there were some violations, shortcomings, and limitations in leadership and guidance in the development and implementation of the Working Regulations; personnel work; management and use of land, finance, and assets; implementation of investment projects; performance of assigned tasks; and declaration of assets and income.
The Central Inspection Commission requests that the Party organizations and Party members under supervision continue to build on their strengths, promptly lead and direct serious self-criticism, draw profound lessons, rectify the violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out, and report the results to the Central Inspection Commission.
Also at this meeting, the Central Inspection Committee discussed and gave opinions on the summary of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Central Committee of the Party on continuing to innovate and reorganize the organizational structure of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient; guidance on personnel work of inspection committees at party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party; the results of inspection, supervision and disciplinary work in the Party in 2024; considered and resolved one complaint case and considered and concluded on several other important issues.
