Benchmark scores of Pedagogical schools 'reign'

The year 2025 will see the rise of teacher training programs. Many programs will have admission scores of 27-28 or higher, and some programs at several universities will even reach a perfect score of 30/30.

Hanoi University of Education

This year, the major with the highest entrance exam score at Hanoi University of Education is History Education with 29.06 points. Besides that, many other majors have entrance exam scores above 28 points, such as: Mathematics Education; Mathematics Education (teaching Mathematics in English); Physics Education; Chemistry Education; Literature Education; Geography Education; and History-Geography Education.

University of Foreign Languages ​​- Vietnam National University, Hanoi

This year, the University of Foreign Languages ​​- Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has two teacher training programs with admission scores reaching 30: English Teacher Training and Chinese Teacher Training. The other two teacher training programs, Japanese Teacher Training and Korean Teacher Training, also have high admission scores of 28.1 and 27.81 respectively.

University of Foreign Languages ​​- Hue University

This year, the English Language Teaching and Chinese Language Teaching programs at the University of Foreign Languages ​​- Hue University also had a perfect cutoff score of 30/30.

Specifically, the English Language Teaching major uses supplementary criteria of a minimum score of 9.5 in English and a minimum score of 8.5 in Literature. For the Chinese Language Teaching major, the foreign language score must be 10.

University of Education - Vietnam National University, Hanoi

In 2025, the University of Education - Vietnam National University, Hanoi recorded admission scores ranging from 25.37 to 29.84 points, depending on the major. Among them, the History-Geography Education major had the highest admission score at 29.84 points. Many other majors at the university this year had admission scores above 28 points, such as: Mathematics Education, Physics Education, Literature Education, History Education, and Primary Education.

Hanoi Pedagogical University 2

This year, the highest admission score for Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 is in the Literature Education major with 28.52 points. The History Education major (28.31) and History - Geography Education major (28.03) are also among the majors with high admission scores.

Hanoi Metropolitan University

The teacher training programs at Hanoi Capital University this year have the highest admission scores, exceeding 27 points. The highest score is for History Education with 27.38 points. Literature Education and Mathematics Education follow with scores of 27.35 and 27.34 respectively.

The sharp increase in entrance exam scores for teacher training programs is partly due to the fact that the State has been implementing preferential policies and support for teacher training and the teaching staff. Decree 116 (regulating policies to support tuition fees and living expenses for teacher training students), the recently passed and promulgated Law on Teachers, and the proposed new salary calculation method with better benefits and support for newly graduated teachers have contributed to pushing entrance exam scores higher.
