Central working delegation visits families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions in Ha Tinh

On the afternoon of July 20th, commemorating the 78th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27th, 1947 - July 27th, 2025), a delegation from the Central Committee, led by Comrade Le Minh Hung, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Organization Department, visited and offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs and visited and presented gifts to the relatives of martyrs and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in localities in Ha Tinh province.

Comrade Le Minh Hung and the Central delegation visited and laid flowers and offered incense at the Dong Loc Crossroads National Special Historical Site (in Dong Loc commune, Ha Tinh province).

The delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate the great contributions and sacrifices of the heroes and martyrs at the National Memorial Monument for Youth Volunteers - which commemorates more than 4,000 youth volunteer martyrs nationwide; and the burial site of the 10 female youth volunteer heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives at Dong Loc Crossroads.

On this occasion, Comrade Le Minh Hung and the Central delegation met with and presented gifts to the families of the 10 female heroic martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force who sacrificed their lives at Dong Loc Crossroads.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Le Minh Hung emphasized that this activity reflects the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," aiming to commemorate and express gratitude for the sacrifices of the heroes and martyrs who gave their lives so that the country could achieve independence, freedom, and development as it is today. He also expressed his hope that the relatives of the martyrs and the local people would continue to emulate and uphold this tradition to build a more prosperous and beautiful homeland.

Next, Comrade Le Minh Hung and the Central delegation visited and offered incense and flowers at the memorial site of the late General Secretary Tran Phu (in Duc Tho commune) and the memorial site of the late General Secretary Ha Huy Tap (in Cam Hung commune, Ha Tinh province) - two steadfast leaders, outstanding disciples of President Ho Chi Minh, who laid the foundation for the revolutionary cause of our Party during a challenging period.

On the same day, Comrade Le Minh Hung and the Central delegation also visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Tran Thi Dao (95 years old, residing in Thanh Sen ward, Ha Tinh province), and Mr. Tran Van Tu (82 years old) - a disabled veteran (category 1/4) in Tu My commune, Ha Tinh province; and also offered incense at the Nui Nai Martyrs' Cemetery (Thanh Sen ward) - the resting place of heroes and martyrs who fell for the independence and freedom of the nation.
