In addition to the achieved results, the planning, management and use of land in the province still have limitations. That is, the situation of arbitrary subdivision and sale of land plots still exists. Many areas of land have been recovered to implement investment projects but the investment progress is slow, including projects auctioning land use rights. The situation of using land for the wrong purpose and encroaching on public land still occurs but the local authorities have not handled it promptly and are not deterrent enough.
From the above-mentioned shortcomings, the Provincial People's Committee has proposed solutions to continue to improve the effectiveness and efficiency, rectify land management, including management, planning, land use, construction planning and handling of violations in the coming time. Continue to strengthen coordination between departments, branches, and commune-level People's Committees in organizing, appraising and approving planning to ensure progress and quality. Focus on synchronous implementation of planning along with improving the quality of planning work. Direct departments and branches to strengthen inspection, examination and supervision of project implementation progress, especially housing projects...

Through the monitoring sessions, the delegation assessed that the Provincial People's Committee has been proactive in directing the establishment and implementation of plans that basically meet the requirements of socio-economic development, creating resources for the province's sustainable development. However, there are still situations where planning is not close to reality, leading to adjustments; some plans have conflicts, leading to difficulties in implementation; many projects are still slow to implement.
Comrade Bui Xuan Thong suggested that the Provincial People's Committee pay attention to and support the commune level in performing tasks related to land and planning according to the new decentralization. Direct regular review of overdue projects to have a direction for handling according to the provisions of law. Update and supplement the content on planning, management and land use for the period 2021-2025 in the area of Binh Phuoc province (old) in the report sent to the monitoring delegation.
