As reported by CAND Newspaper , on the afternoon of November 25, a clip appeared on social media recording the scene of a truck driver traveling on the Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho highway, heading from the West to Ho Chi Minh City. The truck driven by the driver (later identified as Si) was traveling to the section in Binh Trung commune (Dong Thap province) when it overtook and approached another vehicle with someone inside filming the clip.

The truck driver rolled down the window, pointed his left hand at the person filming the clip and held a homemade knife out in his right hand, threatening.
