Samsung Electronics, a global partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, has officially unveiled the limited-edition Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition, exclusively for athletes competing at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
For the first time, the new limited edition Olympic version for Paris 2024 integrates Galaxy AI and comes pre-installed with a range of exclusive services and useful applications to meet all the needs of athletes, providing them with a top-notch experience from the moment they arrive in Paris. At the same time, this new Olympic limited edition marks a milestone as it gives athletes the first opportunity to experience Samsung's latest product before its official market launch.
Distinguished by the compact and versatile design of the Galaxy Z Flip6, the Olympic limited edition also boasts a vibrant gold color and gold-plated Olympic and Paralympic symbols. Furthermore, Samsung collaborated with Berluti – the Parisian luxury menswear brand that designed the official kit for the French team at the Paris 2024 opening ceremony – to create an exclusive Flipsuit case to accompany each device.
The Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition boasts a range of helpful enhancements designed to provide unprecedented experiences for athletes throughout the Olympic Games, including Galaxy AI communication features to help athletes worldwide connect easily in Paris, such as live translation, interpreters, text editors, and professional photo editing assistants.
Through a partnership with Orange, the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition will be equipped with a 5G eSIM with 100GB of data and a 2-year international warranty from Samsung, allowing athletes to easily use the device in Paris and beyond. Additionally, to help athletes easily track the latest competition schedules and conveniently move between locations within the Olympic grounds, a range of official International Olympic Committee (IOC) apps such as Athlete 3656, Olympic Shop, Paris 2024, Transport Accessible App, and the IOC hotline are pre-installed on the device.
