According to Mr. Hoang, currently schools at risk of flooding in Hoa Bac commune, schools in Truong Dinh village (Hoa Lien commune), Hoa Tien 2 kindergarten, An Trach village (Hoa Tien commune), Hoa Phong kindergarten, Lam Quang Thu primary school, Tran Quoc Tuan secondary school (Hoa Phong commune)... have cleaned up, trimmed tree branches, and moved equipment to higher floors to avoid flooding.

"The relocation of school equipment to higher ground has been completed. The Department of Education and Training also requires schools in flood-prone areas to assign staff to be on duty and prepare response plans in case of heavy rain and flooding, ensuring the safety of people and equipment," said Mr. Hoang.
After the storm and flood, based on the actual situation in each area, the Department of Education and Training of Hoa Vang District will assign schools to arrange specific make-up schedules to ensure student safety.

Previously, at noon on September 18, the Department of Education and Training announced that more than 290,000 students from kindergarten to high school would be off school to avoid storm No. 4 and to guard against dangerous heavy rain.
