According to the announcement, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Lien was disciplined for allowing many serious violations in management and operation; failing to properly fulfill her responsibilities, and being lax in management, causing subordinates to violate the law, resulting in serious consequences. The two Vice Principals of the school, Mr. Do Hoai Phuong and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa Chi, were also disciplined with warnings and reprimands.
In addition to the board of directors, accountant Bui Thi Nguyen was disciplined with a warning for violating financial and accounting regulations, causing serious consequences. Three other teachers were disciplined for not fully performing their duties.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires violators to strictly comply with the disciplinary decision, continue to remedy the consequences and take responsibility before the law. The school must publicly announce the disciplinary action to the entire pedagogical council.
Previously, in October 2024, the inspection team of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training pointed out a series of violations at Khuong Ha School, from personnel and student management to financial work. The school rented out rooms in violation of regulations, did not publicly disclose revenues, and did not provide sufficient records of club tuition fees and extra teaching and learning. The main responsibility lies with the Board of Directors and accountants.
The inspection team requested the school board to rectify the situation, return the money illegally collected from parents, submit all revenue from illegal exploitation of facilities to the state budget, and pay overtime fees according to regulations. However, after nearly a year, the remediation has not been completed.
What is infuriating is that in July 2025, the Board of Directors announced that it would deduct salaries from more than 110 teachers, including overtime pay and welfare pay, for a period of 12 to 24 months. This deduction was not approved by the pedagogical council, had no personal agreement, and was not included in the document approving the salary fund for the third quarter of 2025 by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
Ms. Ho Thi Xuan Thu, a teacher at the school, reflected: "My salary for the third quarter of 2025 approved by the Department is 12.932 million VND, after deducting insurance, it is 11.8 million. But in reality, I only received more than 7 million, nearly 4 million VND short. This directly affects the teachers' lives, while the mistake is not ours."
Another teacher also said that more than 2.3 million VND was deducted and worried: "The deduction not only affects income but also makes us lose trust and prestige in the educational environment."
The school's three professional groups met and made a record requesting the Board of Directors to have a public dialogue, and at the same time requested the full payment of the basic salary for July 2025 and payment of overtime teaching fees for the 2024-2025 school year.
With the recently announced disciplinary results, many teachers expect that the handling of violations at Khuong Ha School will be carried out seriously, ensuring fairness for the teaching staff and stabilizing the pedagogical environment.
