Trang Bang Industrial Park Customs: Dialogue with businesses, promoting import and export

On July 18, Trang Bang Industrial Park Customs (Tay Ninh province) under the Regional Customs Branch XVII held the 2nd Dialogue Conference with Enterprises in 2025.

Attending the event were Deputy Head of Regional Customs Branch XVII Vo Thanh Ngoan; representatives of affiliated and subordinate units, along with the participation of 178 leaders and staff in charge of import and export representing 117 enterprises with import and export activities in the management area of Trang Bang Industrial Park Customs.

Trang Bang Industrial Park Customs Captain Pham Hoa Binh informed about the new organizational structure after the merger.

According to the Captain of Trang Bang Industrial Park Customs, Pham Hoa Binh, implementing the policies of the Party, the Government and the direction of the Ministry of Finance and the Customs Department, in March 2025, the unit has gradually arranged, streamlined and stabilized the organization according to the new model, ensuring customs clearance for import and export goods of the enterprise; at the same time, propagandizing about the new organizational structure after the merger.

Trang Bang Industrial Zone Customs is an organization at the level of the Customs Team outside the border gate under the Regional Customs Department XVII. The management area includes Trang Bang Industrial Zone, Linh Trung III Export Processing and Industrial Zone, Phuoc Dong Industrial Zone, Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Zone and enterprises operating outside the zone.

Trang Bang Industrial Park Customs inspects goods before customs clearance

Statistics in the first 6 months of 2025, Trang Bang Industrial Park Customs carried out customs procedures for 1,259 enterprises. Import-export turnover reached 7.73 billion USD, up 11.53%; budget revenue reached 917.03 billion VND, up 35.8%, reaching 69.05% of the year's estimate.

At the conference, Deputy Head of Trang Bang Industrial Park Customs Bui The Minh informed and disseminated a number of key articles, clauses, and new points stipulated in 28 Laws, 63 Decrees, and 84 Circulars related to the customs sector that will take effect from July 1, 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Head of the Regional Customs Branch XVII Vo Thanh Ngoan emphasized that the conference was not only an opportunity to listen, share and jointly resolve difficulties and obstacles in import and export activities, but also an opportunity for Trang Bang Industrial Park Customs and the business community to evaluate and continue to strengthen cooperation, creating the most favorable conditions for businesses and investors to develop long-term and effectively.

Deputy Head of Customs Branch Region XVII Vo Thanh Ngoan gave a speech at the dialogue with businesses.  

There were 6 opinions from businesses revolving around issues of procedures and time for customs clearance of goods; tax policies and supervision of exported and imported goods; on-site inspection of goods during customs clearance procedures; procedures for importing scrap and importing processing equipment; import tax rates for goods for outsourcing; new temporary import and re-export regulations, preferential policies for priority businesses, etc. All issues of concern to businesses were directly answered by Customs leaders.

Representative of Young IL Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park) gave his opinion on new customs procedures.

Opinions on difficulties, proposals and solutions from enterprises are useful information to help the Customs authority have more basis to review and improve business processes. For opinions beyond its authority, Trang Bang Industrial Park Customs will synthesize and report to the Customs Department and competent authorities for consideration and necessary adjustments according to regulations, in order to facilitate import-export and business activities of enterprises.

Deputy Head of the Regional Customs Branch XVII Vo Thanh Ngoan also asked businesses to cooperate in complying with the law, supporting anti-smuggling and accompanying in digital transformation to improve procedural efficiency./.
