A new milestone puts Vietnam on the "limited list" of properties that meet real estate wonders.
Around the world , renowned real estate projects, dubbed "man-made wonders," such as Marina Bay Sands (Singapore), Burj Khalifa (Dubai), Hudson Yards (New York), The Palm Jumeirah (Dubai), etc., are all "magnets" attracting international tourists and massive investment flows.
After its opening in 2010, Marina Bay Sands helped Singapore increase its international tourist arrivals from 9.6 million (2009) to 13.2 million (2011). Similarly, in 2009, Dubai welcomed 7.6 million international tourists, but just five years later (2014), this number increased to 13.2 million, thanks to the iconic Burj Khalifa and Palm Jumeirah.

The "wonder effect" has also caused residential and commercial property values in these cities to surge dramatically. For example, in Dubai, the price of villas in Palm Jumeirah has quadrupled in just over a decade.
A similar story is expected to repeat itself in Vietnam as Vinhomes Green Paradise becomes the first official candidate of the global "7 Wonders of Future Urban Areas" campaign.
“This is an extraordinary metropolis where nature, people, and technology blend together, celebrating each other in a way rarely seen. That is also the spirit that every candidate for the ‘7 Wonders of the Future’ must strive for,” said Jean-Paul de la Fuente, Director of New7Wonders and Chairman of the “7 Wonders of the Future” selection campaign.
According to experts, the selection of a Vietnamese project as a pioneering development is not only a historic milestone for the real estate market, but also places Vietnam on the "limited list" of countries possessing exceptional real estate – a segment particularly sought after by the global super-rich. This also strongly affirms the global vision, sustainable development orientation, and ability of the Vietnamese developer Vingroup to create projects that meet the highest international standards.
Luxury assets, once-in-a-century possessions, establish the global status of their owners.
According to the Knight Frank Wealth Report 2024, the world's ultra-wealthy are strongly shifting towards "collectible real estate"—luxury properties with iconic status and enduring value over centuries. This special asset class records an average price increase of 8-12% per year, far exceeding traditional investment channels, thanks to its scarcity and symbolic value.

In Vietnam, Vinhomes Green Paradise not only establishes a new standard for luxury real estate but is also considered a "once-in-a-century" asset. The project's unique geographical structure, unparalleled globally within the million-year-old Can Gio ecosystem, further enhances the scarcity of this exceptional real estate, making it almost impossible to replicate in the future.
In particular, according to experts, globally over the next 10-20 years, Vinhomes Green Paradise will remain among the bottom 1% of full-cycle ESG++ mega-cities, meaning it applies the ESG++ model from planning to construction and operation, instead of improving it after completion like most current projects. Thanks to this, Vinhomes Green Paradise will establish a benchmark for unparalleled luxury living, becoming a statement of status that only a very small community of elite owners can possess.
"The supply is extremely limited, while demand from the global middle and upper classes is growing, making ESG++ real estate a blue-chip asset class: scarce, valuable, and highly defensive in every economic cycle," commented Dr. Le Xuan Sang, Deputy Director of the Vietnam and World Economics Institute.
" The turbo version of the profit-generating machine" creates a springboard for unlimited value.
According to New7Wonders, the "Wonder Effect" brings immense value in terms of economics, society, marketing, branding, and education, estimated to contribute hundreds of billions of dollars to participating destinations and countries.
The number of tourists visiting Machu Picchu (Peru) increased by more than 70% in the first year it was voted a "New Wonder of the World" in a campaign launched by New7Wonders in 2007.
With Vinhomes Green Paradise, this factor is even stronger because, in addition to the "Wonder Effect," Can Gio is entering an infrastructure revolution with a series of multi-billion dollar projects being implemented simultaneously.
For example, the Ben Thanh - Can Gio high-speed railway will commence construction on December 19, 2025, and is expected to be operational in the third quarter of 2028; the Can Gio bridge is expected to start construction in January 2026 and be completed in the first quarter of 2028; the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway interchange with the Rung Sac road will commence construction in the second quarter of 2026 and be operational in the first quarter of 2028; the Can Gio - Vung Tau sea-crossing road aims to commence construction in the second quarter of 2026 and be inaugurated in the first quarter of 2029…

"With these 'runways' connecting the city center, Can Gio will no longer be a remote area, but will become an international destination, capable of competing with famous coastal cities like Phuket, Bali, or Jeju," Associate Professor, Dr. Architect Hoang Manh Nguyen, Chairman of the Institute of Green Urban Science and Technology, and an expert in planning and architecture, observed.
When the "Wonder Effect" resonates with the infrastructure effect, Vinhomes Green Paradise transforms into a "turbo-powered profit-generating machine," attracting up to 40 million visitors annually and generating enormous cash flow.
Simultaneously, possessing a highly sought-after and rare range of real estate, Can Gio will witness a surge in FDI and private capital, driving long-term increases in housing and commercial values, along with the formation of a community of ultra-wealthy residents and elite international investors.
From tourist arrivals to capital flows, from symbols to assets, this will be a generational turning point, bringing Vietnamese real estate to the world stage with its own stature.
