Regarding the question regarding the absence of Chuong Thi Kieu in the defense, Thu said that the defense has prepared and supported each other without Kieu so this is not a cause for concern. Thu also highly appreciated the progress of the young players and said that the coaching staff has high expectations, hoping that the young players will play well in this year's tournament.

Commenting on the opponent and the team's preparation, Thu emphasized: "The Philippines has a big and strong physique. The coaching staff has prepared the whole team physically. Regarding technique and tactics, coach Chung has also come up with a suitable plan and practiced very hard to get ready for the match."

In the training sessions before the match, coach Mai Duc Chung continued to review tactics, especially coordination, competition and the ability to cover between lines to deal with the Philippines' physical playing style.

Coach Mai Duc Chung said that during the preparation process, the team had friendly matches with many strong opponents, thereby increasing their confidence: “Myanmar and the Philippines have both received strong investment. We do not have stars, but a united team. Huynh Nhu is still the exemplary captain. The whole team will have to be even more determined.”

Talking about playing at Chonburi Stadium, Mr. Mai Duc Chung said with emotion: “When I returned to Chonburi Stadium, I remembered the moment she scored the goal that helped Vietnam win the AFF Cup 6 years ago. That was a beautiful memory.”
