The World Travel Awards' votes show the outstanding appeal of Vietnam's heritage system with 9 world natural and cultural heritages, 16 intangible cultural heritages and 10 documentary heritages recognized by the United Nations Educational , Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and national-level cultural relics and heritages spread across the country.

Based on search data from September to November for stays from December 2025 to January 2026, Agoda representatives said that international travel demand to Vietnam has increased by 30% compared to the same period last year. Notably, the number of searches from Indian visitors increased the most with an increase of 186%. This data affirms the attractiveness of Vietnam as a favorite family travel destination in Southeast Asia.
The Top 5 Ideal Family Holiday Destinations in Vietnam show that Phu Quoc Island leads the list of destinations most searched for by international families, with a 47% increase in searches, thanks to its white sand beaches, clear blue waters and natural parks. This is an ideal destination for multi-generational holidays.
Da Nang followed with a 42% increase, featuring beautiful beaches, light-hearted exploration activities and the Ba Na Hills amusement park.
Nha Trang holds the third spot, continuing to be a favorite choice thanks to its long coastline, family-oriented resorts and diverse island experiences.
In fourth place, Ho Chi Minh City attracts visitors with its rich cuisine, modern entertainment areas and day trips to the Mekong Delta.
Hanoi in fifth place attracts tourists with its cultural heritage, museums and festive atmosphere.
