More than 120 photos of Son Tra peninsula in book

On September 6, the Truth National Political Publishing House coordinated with the People's Committee of Son Tra Ward (Da Nang) to launch the photo book Treasure.

Treasure photo book introduces 125 photos of the flora and fauna ecosystem, mountain and sea landscapes of Son Tra peninsula.

The 272-page publication, presented in Vietnamese and English, includes 5 parts: Son Tra Landscape, Breath of the Forest, Son Tra Treasures, Wild Dance, Colors of the Sea.

The images were selected from competitions and created by many artists, aiming to recreate the majestic natural beauty of the city's "green lung", home to many rare species, especially the red-shanked douc langur.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Dung - member of the editorial board, National Truth Political Publishing House - emphasized: "Son Tra is not only a primeval vegetation from many generations but also a 'treasure' of the living environment, helping the city stabilize a sustainable ecosystem amidst rapid and strong development".

The book is an idea initiated by Mr. Hoang Son Tra - Secretary of the Son Tra Ward Party Committee - since the end of 2024, continuing a series of publications about Son Tra land that many generations of district and ward leaders have carried out.

The next book , From Son Tra Beach to Tra Leng Mountain, is expected to be released soon.

Ms. Dang Thu Thuy - representative of the authors who contributed photos - shared: "We love and protect Son Tra in our own way, through composition and photography, to spread the beauty and raise awareness of preserving the natural treasures of Da Nang ".

According to the organizers, Treasure is not only a collection of beautiful photos, but also carries a message calling on the community to join hands to preserve the ecosystem, landscape and unique values ​​of Son Tra peninsula - the precious gem of the city on the Han River.
