More than 500 volunteers participated in voluntary blood donation

DNO - On the morning of September 19, the People's Committees of the communes of Thang Binh, Thang Dien, Thang Phu and Dong Duong coordinated to organize the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Program, collecting 330 units of blood.

With the message “Donate blood, give hope - Join hands to save people”, the program attracted more than 500 volunteers who are officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of agencies, units and schools in 4 communes: Thang Binh, Thang Dien, Thang Phu and Dong Duong to participate. After screening, qualified volunteers were able to donate blood at the program.

The program received 330 units of blood, reaching 100% of the target assigned by the Blood Donation Campaign Committee of Da Nang City. This amount of blood was handed over to Quang Nam General Hospital and Quang Nam Northern Mountainous Region General Hospital for emergency and treatment of patients.

In addition to centralized blood donation activities, 4 localities are still maintaining voluntary blood donation clubs, ready to mobilize volunteers to donate blood to save lives in emergencies.
