Free cancer screening and examination for 500 women in Can Gio district

Medical staff are examining women in Can Gio district.

The program has provided free medical examinations to more than 500 women in Can Gio district, focusing on screening for common cancers in women such as breast cancer, thyroid cancer, ovarian cancer and cervical cancer. Special cases requiring treatment intervention will continue to receive support from the program, covering all treatment costs.

Ms. Tran Phuong Ngoc Ha, Director of the Golden Trust Fund, said that effective cancer screening is a long and arduous journey, requiring caution, understanding and close coordination between many parties. The Fund chose to start on a small scale - to listen to people, record real needs, accompany medical teams and use that as a solid foundation for bigger steps in the future.
