Prosecution of principal and 5 teachers for 'forgery in work' related to 10th grade entrance exam

The principal and five teachers of Tinh Gia 4 High School (Thanh Hoa) have just been prosecuted by the Investigation Police Agency of this province for the crime of "forgery in work" due to violations in the 10th grade entrance exam, school year 2024-2025.

On the morning of July 15, a source from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that through the work of grasping the situation, the Economic Police Department of this Provincial Police discovered that in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year in the province, there were many candidates with unusually high exam scores, so they focused on verifying, investigating, and clarifying.

Initial investigation results of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police determined that at the examination council of Tinh Gia 4 High School, in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year, a candidate's exam paper had been edited, erased, and had answers added to it.

Based on collected documents and evidence, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Investigation Agency has just prosecuted 6 suspects for the crime of "forgery in work", regulated in Article 359 of the 2015 Penal Code. Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have not yet provided specific information about the identities of the suspects.

According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, the act of taking advantage of one's position, authority, and assigned tasks to deliberately falsify exam results directly affects the reputation of the education sector, causes a loss of fairness for candidates during the exam process, and causes a loss of trust among the people.
