The Southern region recommends arranging a stable national industrial promotion budget for 3-5 years so that localities can proactively develop medium-term plans instead of implementing them yearly as at present.
Agreeing with this recommendation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requested local Departments of Industry and Trade to continue guiding their subordinate units to carry out industrial promotion work based on the results achieved from the previous national industrial promotion projects. At the same time, continue to survey the base, build feasible pilot industrial promotion projects, and make good use of the potential and competitive advantages of each locality and region.
The Ministry also commits to reviewing, appraising and prioritizing the allocation of industrial promotion funds to localities for implementation over many consecutive years, contributing to creating favorable conditions for industrial promotion projects to achieve high efficiency. The establishment, implementation and settlement of state budget funds allocated for industrial promotion activities will be strictly implemented in accordance with the provisions of the State Budget Law, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
Stabilizing industrial promotion capital and organizing its implementation methodically is expected to strongly promote rural industrial development, contributing to improving production capacity, technological innovation and product quality in localities.
