Thanh Hoa PC deploys urgent solutions to ensure labor safety

A moment of carelessness by workers can have unpredictable consequences for themselves, their families, and the unit, so safety must be put first, not only as a slogan, but also as a responsibility and obligation for each individual. This is the strong message of the Director of Thanh Hoa Power Company (PC Thanh Hoa) at the meeting to deploy urgent solutions to ensure labor safety on February 21, 2025 to all officers, employees and workers in the company.

Overview of the meeting.

At the meeting, the Company's Safety Department reported on the overall safety activities from the beginning of 2025 to the present, including evaluating the results of working sessions, inspection and control work, technical management - operation and related dispatching operations, frankly pointing out the shortcomings and violations as well as proposing solutions and plans for the next period such as: Focusing on selecting work sheets with high safety risks, many hazards, risks and assigning the task of checking the site at the beginning and middle of the working day to the site inspection positions at the company. At the same time, units are required to continue to organize instructions for workers to fully identify the hazards at the work site, and provide preventive measures for themselves during work on the power grid and when participating in traffic to avoid the risk of accidents.

Realizing this, many units and individuals have seriously reviewed, learned from experience and proactively contributed opinions, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility for this issue such as improving work processes, enhancing labor protection equipment and proposing more effective risk control measures...

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Hoang Hai - Director of PC Thanh Hoa emphasized: First of all, the Standing Committee and the Board of Directors must show high determination and make great efforts to immediately prevent occupational safety risks. Units must tighten labor discipline, strictly comply with safety procedures in construction and operation of the power grid, especially in adverse weather conditions. "We absolutely cannot allow any more incidents of safety to occur. Any violation of safety procedures must be strictly handled, without exception. Occupational safety is not a slogan, but a mandatory responsibility and obligation of each individual."

The Director of PC Thanh Hoa requested all units to immediately implement strict measures to ensure labor safety. In particular, it is absolutely forbidden for workers to work without a work ticket, work order, and without fully identifying safety risks. Strictly handle violations. Strengthen on-site inspections, improve the quality of safety supervision. Company leaders will directly inspect labor safety at units; 100% of work sessions must be controlled via ECP software to detect and prevent violations. Strengthening safety culture, the goal of building a safety culture in the enterprise, making occupational safety an essential part of the thinking and actions of each officer and employee: "Occupational safety is not only a responsibility, but must become a culture. Each employee must be aware that protecting themselves is also protecting their family, colleagues and the company. Human safety must be put first, ensuring a safe, professional and effective working environment". Along with that, strengthen the organization of specialized training courses, organize dissemination meetings, as well as conduct periodic safety drills, supplement labor protection equipment, effectively apply monitoring technology, and promote communication work.

Determining the need to tighten safety discipline, not allowing any mistakes to lead to unfortunate consequences, this is not only an order from the Director, but also the responsibility of each officer and employee in the entire company. With that determination, we believe that the safety work of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company will be increasingly improved, contributing to stable development, building a professional, safe and sustainable working environment.
