Strive to bring the 500 kV transmission line project to the finish line on time

The 500 kV line project, circuit 3, Quang Trach - Quynh Luu section, has a length of 225.5 km, passing through 3 provinces: Quang Binh , Ha Tinh and Nghe An.

On the morning of November 7, Duc Tho District People's Committee had a working session with the Central Power Project Management Board to deploy compensation, support, and site clearance for the 500 kV line 3 circuit project, Quang Trach - Quynh Luu section through the district.

The project to build a new 500 kV line, 3-circuit section Quang Trach - Quynh Luu, has a length of 225.5 km, passing through 3 provinces: Quang Binh, Ha Tinh and Nghe An with 463 pier foundation locations. Of which, the line passing through Duc Tho district is 15.3 km long with 33 pier foundation locations. The project affects 12 houses, 2 livestock farms and 38 households. Currently, the consulting unit is coordinating with localities where the line passes to focus on simultaneous measurements along the entire line.

At the meeting, leaders of Duc Tho district and localities discussed and agreed with the Project Management Board to provide maximum support to the unit in construction implementation.

To ensure compensation and site clearance work on schedule, completing the project in June 2024, Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc - Vice Chairman of Duc Tho District People's Committee requested the consulting unit and the Project Management Board to coordinate with localities to agree on the route direction, the area for placing the pier foundations and the expected land acquisition; at the same time, promptly complete legal procedures to implement support and compensation for site clearance according to regulations.

Leaders of Duc Tho district requested localities to create maximum conditions and accompany investors in compensation and site clearance, striving to bring the 500 kV line 3, Quang Trach - Vung Ang thermal power plant project to the "finish line" on schedule.
