On August 17th, Team 3 of the Market Management Department of Quang Binh province announced that they had fined a company 30 million VND for failing to notify the state management agency about its e-commerce website.

Previously, the inspection team of Market Management Team No. 3 conducted an inspection of VCD Service Co., Ltd., located in Dong Hung village (Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province).

Upon inspection, it was discovered that the company's website is operational and selling various food products. The website features an online ordering function with complete information on prices and payment methods.

Ms. NTN - Chairman and Director of VCD Services Co., Ltd. - admitted that the website was set up to serve the company's online sales activities.

Upon searching the Ministry of Industry and Trade's E-commerce Management Portal, there is no data indicating that the company has notified the competent state management agency about its e-commerce website.

The head of Market Management Team No. 3 issued a decision to impose an administrative fine of 30 million VND on VCD Services Co., Ltd. for failing to notify the competent state management agency about its e-commerce website before selling goods, as required by regulations.
