
The delegation visited Mr. Nguyen Van Luyn (born in 1955, 41% disabled) living in Hamlet 4, Hoa Hoi Commune. Next, the delegation visited Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong (born in 1954, 61% disabled) living in Hamlet 2, Hoa Hoi Commune. Mr. Phong's unit directly participated in the Ho Chi Minh campaign to liberate the South and unify the country.
Next, the delegation visited Mrs. Dao Kim Xuyen (born in 1950, 61% disabled soldier) who is living in Bau Ham hamlet, Bau Lam commune. After that, the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Hien (born in 1935), who is also living in Bau Ham hamlet, Bau Lam commune. Mother Hien has a husband and children who are both martyrs.

At the families he visited, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong sent words of encouragement and expressed his deep gratitude to the mothers, aunts, and uncles whose relatives sacrificed and devoted part of their blood and bones to the cause of national liberation and unification. At the same time, the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee informed about the merger of Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Duong provinces with Ho Chi Minh City and the arrangement of the 2-level government apparatus to be closer to the people, serving the people and businesses better.
The Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also expressed his hope that Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and those with meritorious services will continue to be shining examples in local movements and activities for future generations to follow.
On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong sent gifts from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids and sick soldiers to express gratitude for their great contributions and demonstrate the nation's tradition of remembering the source of water when drinking water.
