Vietnamese students win third prize at the global Huawei ICT Competition 2023 - 2024

This is the second consecutive time that the Vietnamese team has participated and won a high prize at the Global Finals. This achievement has affirmed the capacity of Vietnamese students in the world knowledge arena.

At the Global Finals of the Huawei ICT Competition 2023-2024, the Vietnamese Team performed excellently and won third prize in the Network Track category after competing with more than 470 contestants from 160 teams from 49 countries and territories.

The Vietnamese team, consisting of two students: Dang Phuong Khoi Nguyen (student of FPT University Da Nang) and Nguyen Dac Phuc (student of University of Economics and Technology of Industry), passed the National round and the Asia- Pacific Regional round to continue to demonstrate their talent and courage, excellently winning the Third Prize in the Network Track category at the Global Finals.

Mr. Peng Honghua, President of Huawei ICT Strategy and Business Development, also shared at the event: “ICT is the foundation for an intelligent world. Through the Huawei ICT Competition, we hope to provide students with a global learning platform to exchange ideas and knowledge, thereby enhancing the capabilities of young ICT talents, contributing to building the intelligent world of the future.”

The 8th Huawei ICT Competition 2023-2024 saw a record number of participants, with more than 170,000 students from over 2,000 universities and colleges in 80 countries and regions.
