In the early days, with a high sense of responsibility, officers and soldiers of the 968th Division closely coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, and people to implement many practical activities such as: dredging irrigation canals; installing a system to draw water from the mountains to serve the daily needs of the people; helping policy beneficiary, elderly, and disadvantaged families rebuild their houses; clearing and cleaning village roads and historical sites; leveling and concreting the courtyard of the cultural center; providing free haircuts for the people…

In addition, the unit also coordinated the dissemination of information and mobilized the people to strictly abide by the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations. These specific and meaningful actions of the officers and soldiers of Division 968 have contributed to strengthening the solidarity between the military and the people, and enhancing the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era.

The first phase of the 968th Division's civilian outreach campaign will continue until July 30th.
