Immediately after receiving the assignment, 10 volunteer youth teams of the Ca Mau Provincial Police coordinated with commune-level police, local security and order protection teams, and local authorities to dismantle old houses and relocate belongings, helping to reduce labor costs and shorten implementation time. By July 20, 2025, more than 300 police youth union members had completed the dismantling of 29 dilapidated houses, ready to move into the new construction phase.
Entering a new phase, the youth of the Provincial Public Security Department are determined to accelerate the completion of the project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses through various specific activities that have taken place continuously from July 21st to the present, such as: laying foundations, leveling the ground, transporting materials, and supporting construction units to speed up the construction process… To date, over 420 young people have assisted in the commencement of construction of 9 new houses, bringing great confidence and motivation to members of the Association of Former Public Security Officers.
The youth union members of the commune's police force are determined to support members of the Association of Former Police Officers in demolishing temporary and dilapidated houses.
These houses, which are gradually being built, are not only safe and stable shelters for the members, but also a vivid symbol of the spirit of "comradeship and solidarity," continuing the glorious 80-year tradition of the People's Public Security Force. This is clear evidence of the pioneering role, responsibility, and enthusiasm of the young people of the Ca Mau Provincial Public Security Force in caring for social welfare and strengthening the bond between the People's Public Security Force and the people.
Mr. Nguyen Binh Em, a member of the Association of Former Police Officers of Tri Phai commune, said emotionally: “We never thought that in our twilight years we would receive such care and dedicated support from the police force, especially the Youth Union members. These actions warm our hearts and strengthen our faith in the close bond of camaraderie between generations within the force.”
Police officers and soldiers of Ca Mau province assisted in pushing soil and building a foundation at the home of Mr. Nguyen Binh Em, Hamlet 1, Tri Phai commune.
On the journey towards the important national and police holidays, this meaningful activity not only helps realize the goal of "leaving no one behind" in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, but also clearly demonstrates the affection, responsibility, and tradition of solidarity and camaraderie of the police force towards previous generations.
With determination, responsibility, and dedication, the young police officers of Ca Mau are continuing to affirm their pivotal role in the community service movement, gradually building the image of a police officer who is "courageous, humane, and dedicated to serving the people," worthy of being the generation that inherits and develops the glorious traditions of the People's Police Force over the past 80 years.
