Tuyen Quang youth join hands to contribute to building their homeland

Currently, the Vietnam Youth Union of Son Duong district has over 35,000 members participating in activities at 46 Youth Union bases. Over the past 5 years, the youth of Son Duong district have always actively participated in movement activities, labor; socio -economic development, national defense, volunteering for community life, accompanying young people to establish their careers with specific and practical tasks. The role of the Youth Union continues to be enhanced, the work of the Union has achieved many practical results, all targets have been achieved and exceeded compared to the Resolution of the 5th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of the district, term 2019 - 2024. During the term, propaganda and education work has been applied and deployed by all levels of the Union with many diverse and rich forms; through movements and campaigns, the Union bases have focused on synchronous implementation, promoting the spirit of initiative, volunteering, and creativity in participating in solving social security issues.

Every year, over 75% of young people achieve the title of "Advanced Youth following Uncle Ho's teachings"; many youth economic models are commended by the province and district for studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. With many practical contents and forms, the Association's bases strengthen propaganda andeducation activities, raise awareness and responsibility of young people in activities for community life through implementing "Youth Month", "Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign"; Implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

Promoting the pioneering and volunteering role of the youth, Son Duong district youth have actively participated in socio-economic development programs; the Youth Union at all levels has proactively advised and proposed the implementation of youth projects and tasks; undertaken new and difficult tasks such as: Coordinating the construction of 71 district-level youth projects such as: building 32 "Bright - Green - Clean new rural roads" routes; 15 "Lighting up the countryside roads" routes; 12 "Red Scarf" houses; 4 "May 15 Houses"; 5 "March 26 Houses"; 2 "October 15 Houses"...; 5,200 grassroots youth projects and tasks: coordinating the construction, renovation and repair of 186 village and residential group cultural houses; constructing and putting into use 86 "Lighting up the countryside roads" projects; coordinating the elimination of 89 temporary and dilapidated houses; solidify, repair, and dredge over 200 km of intra-field canals...

Son Duong Youth Force is always at the forefront of activities to make green and clean village roads and alleys, contributing to the successful construction of new rural areas.

Son Duong Youth actively participates in consulting and introducing jobs for people in need of labor to find jobs.

In addition, the District Youth Union Committee has proactively connected and coordinated with volunteer groups inside and outside the province to effectively organize volunteer activities in the area, undertake meaningful and practical youth projects and tasks with a total budget of over 4 billion VND, helping 220 poor youth households; presented 2,500 gifts and scholarships to policy families, people with revolutionary contributions, poor households, and disadvantaged youth; coordinated to organize medical examinations, consultations, and free medicine distribution for over 5,000 elderly people, children, and policy beneficiaries... coordinated to organize a voluntary blood donation program, mobilizing over 3,500 young people to participate in voluntary blood donation, collecting 1,750 units of blood... presented 2,150 gifts to students in difficult circumstances worth over 500 million VND. In addition, the Association cooperates with banks in the district to entrust loans to poor households and other policy beneficiaries of nearly 200 billion VND to 3,385 households. Currently, the district has 55 cooperative groups, 7 youth economic development clubs, effectively maintaining over 100 high-income youth economic models.
