What can we see from the number of newly established and dissolved enterprises in Ha Tinh?

According to information from the Ha Tinh Statistics Office, as of early July 2025, the whole province had 820 newly registered enterprises with a total registered capital of more than 3,145 billion VND, an increase of 30.37% in the number of enterprises compared to the same period in 2024. This is a positive signal showing that the investment and business environment in the area continues to improve and attract the attention of businesses and entrepreneurs.

The business sector currently contributes about 50 - 60% of the province's GRDP, 60% of domestic budget revenue and 50 - 60% of total social investment capital in the province.

However, in addition to the increase in quantity, the registered capital of enterprises decreased by 12.97%. This figure proves that the scale of new enterprises is still small, reflecting the cautious psychology of investors in the face of economic fluctuations at home and abroad.

In addition, the number of enterprises returning to operation was 242 units, down 2.81%; the number of dissolved enterprises was 130, up 10.17% and up to 483 enterprises registered to temporarily suspend operations, up 10.27% over the same period last year.

The continuous increase and decrease in statistical information in an “unhappy” direction reflects a reality: In addition to the increase in new establishment, the rate of enterprises facing difficulties, forced to dissolve or temporarily suspend business is still high. There are many reasons given, but in general, it is still: originating from the negative impact of global inflation, high input costs, declining consumer demand and the prolonged effects of world economic fluctuations.

In fact, Ha Tinh's efforts in accompanying, supporting and developing the private economy in recent times are very commendable. The province has focused on directing and removing difficulties in administrative procedures, supporting access to capital, land, and production and business premises; promptly informing and dialogue with businesses to resolve problems; promoting administrative procedure reform, shortening the time for processing records, and enhancing the application of digital technology in business management have also been focused on...

However, it can be seen that business support measures are still not strong enough to strongly impact the recovery capacity, growth and long-term competitiveness of the private economic sector. In the context of global economic uncertainty and the need for sustainable development, a more comprehensive and strategic approach to promoting private enterprise development requires more attention.

Ha Tinh aims to have about 18,000-20,000 enterprises in the whole province by 2030.

Recently, after the Politburo issued Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on continuing to innovate and strongly develop the private economy to become an important driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy, the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee quickly developed an Action Program to effectively implement the contents of the resolution, creating a clear change in the development of the private economy - one of the main production forces in the locality.

The most impressive is the 7th group of tasks and solutions in the Action Program to implement Resolution 68 of Ha Tinh: Substantial and effective support for small, micro and household businesses. In fact, of the more than 10,000 businesses and branches and representative offices operating in the province, more than 95% are small and micro businesses. Support is still regularly provided but now requires more substance, efficiency and "sincerity".

The tasks to substantially and effectively support small and micro enterprises and business households are: Promoting the application of information technology, digitalization, transparency, simplification, ease of compliance, ease of implementation for accounting, tax, insurance regimes, etc.; effectively implementing policies to support business households in converting to operating under the enterprise model; providing free digital platforms, shared accounting software, legal consulting services, training on business administration, accounting, tax, human resources, and law for small and micro enterprises, business households, and individual businesses; regularly instilling in cadres, civil servants, and public employees a sense of responsibility, public ethics, and dedication to solving problems for businesses; regularly dialogue, build a close, substantive, sharing, open, and sincere relationship between the government and businesses.

Although there will be many difficulties and challenges, the serious implementation of Resolution 68-NQ/TW together with the specific and synchronous Action Program of the province will be an important basis to promote the strong development of the private economic sector in Ha Tinh.

A new hope opens up, the province's efforts will become a solid "support", a sincere encouragement for the "soldiers" on the economic front to promote their own capacity, actively contributing to development.
