DNO - These days, Da Nang is bustling with the arrival of hundreds of international contestants to attend the 25th International Mathematics Competition - VIMC 2025. As the host, the city not only carefully prepares facilities but also warmly welcomes, gives gifts and supports transportation for the delegations. In addition to the host Vietnam, the 25th International Mathematics Competition - VIMC 2025 has 29 contestant groups from all over the world, gathering in Da Nang city to participate in the leading intellectual playground of Mathematics for secondary school students.

Since August 12, the delegations have been arriving in Da Nang city by air. As soon as they arrived at Da Nang International Airport, the delegations were warmly welcomed by the city, given gifts and maximum support to get to the meeting place and resting place.

Each group of candidates coming to take the exam received a warm welcome from the city.

Every day, the exam organizing committee sends dozens of volunteers who are good at foreign languages, have good communication skills, and a friendly attitude to be on duty at the airport to welcome and support the delegations with necessary information and content.

Volunteers are on duty at Da Nang International Airport 24/7 to promptly welcome and demonstrate the city's hospitality.

Through the records, the contestants all appreciated the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of the city in the reception work. Ms. Louisa Lomeli, Team Mexico shared: “I am truly touched to receive your warm welcome. I am sure that the contestants will have wonderful experiences in this beautiful city and country”.

The 25th International Mathematics Olympiad will take place from August 14 to 19. The opening ceremony will take place on the afternoon of August 15 at the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (Danang University). On August 16, teams will compete in individual and team competitions.

In addition to professional activities, the city also organizes a number of team building games, cultural exchanges and sightseeing tours for candidates. Thereby, creating a comfortable atmosphere, useful experiential activities, contributing to leaving a good impression of Da Nang city in particular, and Vietnam in general, with international friends.
