Korean tourist finds lost wallet, writes thank you letter to police

On the afternoon of September 7, a leader of Quy Nhon Dong Ward Police (Gia Lai Province) said that the unit had just assisted in finding lost property for a Korean tourist at Hon Kho Peninsula - Nhon Hai.

Earlier, at around 2 PM on September 6th, Mr. Kim Jin Hak (born in 1968, a South Korean national, temporarily residing at a hotel in Quy Nhon ward, Gia Lai province) reported to the Quy Nhon Dong Ward Police that he had lost a phone and a leather wallet containing many valuables and important documents.

Upon receiving the report, the local police force promptly verified the information and, by 5 PM, had recovered all the property and returned it to its owner.

Touched by the sense of responsibility shown by the officers and soldiers of the Quy Nhon Dong Ward Police, Mr. Kim Jin Hak wrote a letter expressing his gratitude. In the letter, he stated that he received very dedicated and thoughtful assistance, which made him appreciate and admire the Vietnamese police force even more.

"I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security , especially the Quy Nhon Dong Ward Police and the Gia Lai Provincial Police, for their sense of responsibility and dedication to their work," wrote Mr. Kim Jin Hak.
