Organizing a peak period of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2

Specifically, to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, leaders of socio -political organizations have issued plans to organize commemorative activities in the system of the Front and socio-political organizations.

At the same time as implementing the tasks according to the set plan, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front requested the Standing Committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities to focus on directing and guiding the organization of peak periods of welcoming activities at the grassroots level and in residential areas nationwide.

Organizing activities in residential areas aims to create an enthusiastic and exciting atmosphere, arouse patriotism, national pride, solidarity, promote patriotic emulation movements, grassroots campaigns, and build "unity, prosperity, and happiness" residential areas. The peak period of activities is from August 10 to September 10, 2025.

Activities carried out include: Propagating and mobilizing households to simultaneously hang the national flag on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; organizing a general environmental sanitation campaign, keeping the landscape of residential areas, village roads, and alleys bright, green, clean and beautiful to celebrate the anniversary; organizing activities to visit, encourage and show gratitude to families with meritorious services to the country and exemplary policy families in the area; organizing activities to offer incense to commemorate heroic martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution; organizing activities, competitions, cultural festivals, arts and mass sports , creating an enthusiastic and exciting atmosphere in residential areas.

At the same time, the Fatherland Front at all levels organized to commend, reward and express gratitude to collectives and individuals who have made many contributions to the community; organized seminars to review history, highlight the great significance of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, introduce the country's innovation achievements, propose tasks and solutions to build "unity, prosperity and happiness" residential areas (can be organized in each residential area, inter-residential area or at the commune level); deploy activities to support and care for the lives of people, poor households, and vulnerable groups in society; focus on completing and organizing the handover and inauguration of social security works, great solidarity houses, completing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households before August 31, 2025; launch emulation movements to welcome Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front requests agencies in the Vietnam Fatherland Front system (Social Work Committee presides over and coordinates with the Trade Union Work Committee, Farmers Work Committee, Youth and Children Work Committee, Women Work Committee, and Veterans Work Committee) to monitor, urge, synthesize results and promptly report.

The Standing Committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities issued guidelines for implementation to the commune and residential area levels, noting that localities should propose funding sources from the budget and from socialized sources; make plans and propose that leaders of provinces, cities, communes, wards, and special zones participate in activities in typical residential areas; collect and edit documents on the great historical significance of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, close to local realities.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front requested the Standing Committees of Provincial and Municipal Party Committees to pay attention to directing Party committees, Party organizations, and authorities at provincial and communal levels to create conditions and coordinate support for material facilities and funding sources so that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations can effectively organize and carry out activities in the locality.

The Standing Committees of the Central Committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of provinces and cities urgently organize and report the results of peak activities to the Standing Committees of the Central Committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front before September 15, 2025.
