In family life, people need to turn off unnecessary electrical appliances, turn off gas valves when leaving the house; do not charge phones, laptops, electric vehicles, etc. overnight or when unattended; avoid burning incense, candles, and votive paper near flammable materials (curtains, paper, clothes, wood, etc.).

When participating in events, festivals, watching fireworks,... people should observe the exits, stairs, and emergency exits to proactively escape when needed; do not jostle, push, and comply with the instructions of the authorities.

People should absolutely not drive after drinking alcohol or beer. When traveling by boat or train, wear a life jacket and bring life-saving equipment. If a vehicle fire or explosion occurs, quickly stop the vehicle, turn off the engine, and use a fire extinguisher or other available materials to put out the fire.

At restaurants, karaoke bars, hotels, and shopping centers, facility owners need to regularly check the fire prevention system, maintain clear escape routes, use electricity safely, and not make illegal connections; at the same time, remind and train employees in incident handling skills.

Small traders are instructed to practice using fire extinguishers to extinguish simulated fires.

PC07 recommends that each family should equip themselves with portable fire extinguishers, flashlights, and gas masks to proactively respond. When a fire breaks out, stay calm, raise the alarm, call 114, quickly escape safely, and participate in firefighting when possible.
