Awarding ceremony of the first round of the Competition to learn about the traditions of the Industry and Trade sector

At the end of the first round of the competition (September 2024), the Organizing Committee judged and selected 9 individuals and units as winners of the Competition to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector.

According to the Organizing Committee, in implementing Plan No. 23-KH/BCSĐ dated August 13, 2024, of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on organizing the competition to learn about the traditions of the Industry and Trade sector, the first phase of the competition (September 2024), conducted online, has concluded. The Organizing Committee has judged and selected the winners, including: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 3 units that actively participated.

Accordingly, the Organizing Committee recently awarded prizes to 9 individuals and organizations that won the first round of the "Understanding the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector" competition (September). The awarding methods included: direct and indirect (sending certificates via mail ) to the winning individuals and organizations.

According to the competition organizers, after more than a month of launching and officially implementing the competition from September 1st to September 30th, the organizers' statistics show that 2,801 people participated in the competition.

In particular, many units throughout the Industry and Trade sector actively participated in the competition. The organizing committee acknowledged the enthusiastic participation of many local Departments of Industry and Trade, as well as numerous universities and colleges in the Industry and Trade sector across provinces and cities.

The organizing committee noted that the University of Economics and Industrial Engineering, the University of Electricity, and the Viet Tri University of Industry were the most active participants in the first phase of the online competition. The University of Economics and Industrial Engineering alone had thousands of members participating in the competition.

Leaders of the Industry and Trade Newspaper - representing the Organizing Committee - presented the award to the representative of the University of Electrical Engineering for the most active participating unit.

Sharing his feelings after receiving the award as one of the three units actively participating in the first phase, Mr. Chu Van Tuan - Head of the Center for Communication and Business Relations, University of Electrical Engineering - said that, following the direction of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, after receiving the official letter from the Ministry, the school's leadership organized the implementation and assigned relevant units to seriously carry it out.

"The award is a great source of encouragement for the school's leaders, lecturers, staff, employees, trainees, and students to continue participating more actively in learning about the traditions of the industry through subsequent competitions, in order to spread awareness and contribute to the success of the competition," Mr. Tuan said.

According to representatives from the University of Electrical Engineering, the competition has profound significance, not only helping to enhance historical knowledge but also educating younger generations, trainees, and students in learning, preserving, and promoting the positive values ​​of the Industry and Trade sector's traditions. At the same time, it mobilizes unity, collective spirit, and a unified bloc throughout the sector to understand and contribute to the development of the Industry and Trade sector.

Previously, in order for the contest to receive the response and active participation of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in agencies and units under the Industry and Trade sector, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade launched a movement to agencies and units under the sector to respond and participate in the contest.

The competition was launched with the aim of honoring traditional values, highlighting the position and stature of the Industry and Trade sector in its formation, construction, and development from its inception to the present day; contributing to traditional education and arousing pride among officials, civil servants, and employees of the Industry and Trade sector.

Simultaneously, it aims to raise public awareness of the role and importance of the Industry and Trade sector in the socio-economic development of the country; enhance the awareness of the entire society regarding the activities of the Industry and Trade sector, thereby gaining social consensus and public interest in the development of the sector; and encourage creativity and participation from all sectors of society in understanding and contributing to the development of the Industry and Trade sector.
