Ho Chi Minh City University of Law accelerates digital transformation in law education and training

(NLDO) - In the new school year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law will apply AI in administration and teaching, aiming to become the leading law training institution in Vietnam and the region.

After the live broadcast of the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026 and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education organized by the Ministry of Education and Training on the morning of September 5, Dr. Le Truong Son, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, conducted the drum beating ceremony, officially starting the school year 2025-2026.

In his opening speech, the President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law said that the 2024 - 2025 school year had ended with many outstanding achievements such as maintaining internal solidarity, perfecting the organizational structure and developing the team; completing training work with thousands of bachelors, masters and doctors graduating; enrolling on target with more than 3,600 students and trainees... Regarding facilities, the school has put the 3rd campus into operation, preparing to deploy branches in Nha Trang and the Central region.

"Entering the new school year, the school focuses on many key tasks, the most prominent of which is improving the training program according to new standards, shortening the training time to 3.5 years, organizing additional summer semesters so that students can study ahead and graduate early; implementing a comprehensive digital transformation strategy for the period 2025 - 2030, applying artificial intelligence in administration and teaching, aiming to build the school into a leading law training institution in Vietnam and prestigious in the region" - Dr. Son said.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law will reduce the training program from 4 years to 3.5 years.

Besides, Principal Le Truong Son expressed deep gratitude to the team of lecturers, staff and students who have made efforts and dedicated themselves, and called on the entire school to unite, be creative and overcome difficulties.

After the speech, Dr. Son launched a series of activities to celebrate 50 years of tradition and 30 years of naming the school. The series of commemorative events will take place from now until March 2026.

In addition, to accelerate digital transformation, the school has cooperated with AI - Hay to give away 15,000 free AI Hay Pro accounts to students, lecturers and staff. This is an important step forward in applying artificial intelligence to teaching and researching law.
