Commemorating the wife of famous painter Le Ba Dang in his hometown of Bich La Dong

Today, January 1st, in the warm atmosphere of the private home of the renowned painter Le Ba Dang in Bich La Dong village, Trieu Thanh commune, Trieu Phong district, his family and relatives solemnly held a memorial ceremony for Mrs. Myshu Lebadang, the wife of the renowned painter Le Ba Dang.

Myshu Lebadang was born on July 5, 1929, in Le Havre, France, and passed away on December 26, 2023, in Paris, France, at the age of 94. Myshu Lebadang (full name Micheline Nguyen Hai) was a French woman of Vietnamese descent who worked as a designer for a renowned French fashion house.

In 1950, she married the renowned painter Le Ba Dang, originally from Bich La Dong village, Trieu Thanh commune, Trieu Phong district. She had a profound influence on the life and artistic career of the famous painter Le Ba Dang.

Having accompanied her husband to Vietnam many times, Myshu Lebadang closely followed his artistic activities, playing many quiet roles behind the scenes. According to family and relatives of the renowned painter Le Ba Dang, Myshu Lebadang visited her husband's hometown in Bich La Dong village many times. She was a gentle, insightful, approachable woman, well-liked by everyone.

At the memorial ceremony, delegates and family members of the renowned painter Le Ba Dang, local people, and art lovers respectfully offered incense and fresh flowers in remembrance of Myshu Lebadang.
