VFF signs "special" contract for the future of Vietnamese football

On August 21, 2024, the "Young Footballer Program Announcement Ceremony" took place in Hanoi . This is a reality TV football program for children produced by Bee Communications (Bee Comm) in collaboration with Vietnam Television, and sponsored by LOTTE Group.

Established in 2011 and after 12 years of successfully discovering and training Vietnamese football talents, the Young Footballer program has become a large, prestigious, and well-structured platform for children passionate about football and aspiring to build professional organizations. More than just an entertainment program, Young Footballer also delivers a powerful message about sportsmanship to young teenagers.

With the goal of discovering, nurturing, and training young Vietnamese football players, the "Young Footballer" program officially returns, marking the beginning of a completely new version.

This version features intensive training under the special guidance of professional coaches from South Korea, such as Lee Young Pyo - a former South Korean national football team player who played for PSV Eindhoven and Tottenham Hotspur. The program also includes famous Vietnamese football players such as Bui Tien Dung, Ho Tuan Tai, Nham Manh Dung, Dung Quang Nho, and Chau Ngoc Quang.

Throughout their journey with the program, the children will have the opportunity to interact with youth football teams in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, as well as participate in aptitude tests at the The Cong Viettel Club and have the chance to stay at the club to participate in football skills training courses.

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and LOTTE Group signed an agreement to cooperate in organizing the "Young Footballer" reality show in 2024.

The program also included a "Signing Ceremony for Cooperation in Developing the Young Footballer Program" between Mr. Nguyen Minh Chau - Deputy Secretary General of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Mr. Lee Kap - Director of Communications of LOTTE Group. The two organizations agreed on the goal of cooperating to organize the "Young Footballer" reality show in 2024 with the aim of developing young Vietnamese football talents and contributing to the overall development of Vietnamese football.

With its positive contributions to Vietnamese football over the past 12 years, LOTTE Group is collaborating with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) in the Young Footballer program to continue its journey of discovering young football talents. This program will provide opportunities for young football talents to improve their chances of developing into professional players in the future, while also contributing to the development of Vietnamese football.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, delivered a speech.

Also at this event, in recognition of LOTTE Group's positive contributions to the development of Vietnamese youth football, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, presented a certificate to the Director of Communications of LOTTE Group.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung also commended LOTTE Group's positive contributions through meaningful and practical television programs for Vietnamese children, as well as its role in promoting the future development of Vietnamese youth football.

The new version of the reality TV show "Young Football Players" consists of 10 episodes and will be broadcast at 10:00 AM every Sunday on VTV3, starting August 25, 2024. The program is produced by Bee Media Company in collaboration with Vietnam Television and sponsored by LOTTE Group.
