On July 17, the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Long announced information on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores in the province and the candidates with the highest scores in the exam.
Accordingly, the 2025 high school graduation exam in Vinh Long province has 3 examination councils in Vinh Long, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh (old) provinces with more than 34,000 candidates participating. As a result, there are a total of 256 scores of 10, the most in geography with 102 points, and only 1 score of 10 in information technology.

Notably, the 3 candidates with the highest scores were divided equally among 3 schools in 3 former provinces. The valedictorian was female student Le Tran Phuong Nhung, a student of Phan Thanh Gian High School (Ba Tri Commune, Vinh Long - formerly Ba Tri Town, Ba Tri District, Ben Tre ), with a total score of 37.5 points in 4 subjects (math 9; literature 9; geography 10; chemistry 9.5).
The runners-up were two male students with 37.25 points each, including: Truong Ho Minh Thuan, a student at Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted (Phuoc Hau Ward, Vinh Long - formerly Ward 4, Vinh Long City, Vinh Long) with a score of 10 in math; 7.5 in literature; 10 in geography; 9.75 in chemistry; and Nhan Chan Kim, a student at Tra Cu Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities (Tra Cu Commune, Vinh Long - formerly Tra Cu Town, Tra Cu District, Tra Vinh) with a score of 9 in math; 8.75 in literature; 9.75 in geography; and 9.75 in chemistry.
