VN-Index increased to 1,667 points thanks to investment cash flow into steel and real estate industries

The stock market continued to maintain its growth at the close of trading on September 12. While foreign investors continued to net sell for the fourth consecutive session, cash flow into steel and real estate groups contributed to helping the VN-Index increase by 9.51 points, reaching 1,667 points.

Liquidity of the entire stock market decreased compared to yesterday's session, the total trading volume of the three floors reached more than 1,283 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND 37,239 billion.

Foreign investors continued to net sell for the fourth session on all three exchanges, with a net selling value of more than VND1,188 billion recorded today, focusing on HPG (VND197.91 billion), SSI (VND179.49 billion),FPT (VND171.86 billion), VIX (VND127.15 billion), MSB (VND125.85 billion)...

On the contrary, the stocks with the most net purchases in this session included GEX (178.78 billion VND), VNM (158.96 billion VND), MSN (129.41 billion VND), TCB (115.3 billion VND), PVD (42.34 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased compared to the previous session, reaching more than 30,339 billion VND.

In this session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increased by more than 8.33 points include: VIC, HPG, MSN, VNM, GVR, HVN, BID, GEX, SJS, GAS.

On the contrary, the codes that negatively impacted the VN-Index by more than 3.26 points included: VPB, VHM, SSB, SSI, CTG,SHB , MBB, VRE, BCM, TCB.

In terms of industry groups, this session, software stocks decreased slightly by 0.23%, mainly from FPT and CMT codes... Some codes increased including CMG, ELC, ITD, SBD, PIA.

The group of securities stocks performed negatively, down 0.41%, mainly from codes SSI, VND, VCI, MBS, BSI, DSE, AGR, CTS, VDS, ORS, BVS, FUEKIV30... On the contrary, the codes increased including VIX, FUEVFVND, FTS, HCM, E1VFVN30, TVS, TCI, ABW...

Banking stocks in this session decreased by 0.12%, mainly from codes TCB, CTG, VPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, TPB, BAB... Some codes increased including VCB, BID,ACB , LPB, VIB, EIB, MSB, OCB, NAB...

Real estate stocks this session leaned towards green, with an increase of 0.52%, mainly from codes VIC, KBC, NVL, DXG, SJS, VPI, NLG, DIG, KSF, PDR, TCH, SNZ, CEO... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included VHM, VRE, KDH, SSH, BCM, TAL, VCR...

Energy stocks traded in green and closed up 1.47%, mainly from BSR, PLX, PVS, OIL, PVT, PVC, CLM, CST... Some stocks increased including PVD, PVP, TMB, VIP, POS, PVB, COM...

Liquidity reached over 1,121.35 million units, equivalent to a trading value of over VND34,172.94 billion. The entire floor had 252 stocks increasing, 40 stocks remaining unchanged and 84 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 10.37 points (+0.56%) to 1,865.45 points. Liquidity reached more than 441.86 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 17,602.45 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 16 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 12 stocks decreasing.
