According to statistics, in the first four months of 2024, the number of newly established businesses increased in all 17/17 registered business sectors. Nineteen out of 27 districts, towns, and cities had the same or higher number of newly established businesses compared to the same period last year. Many localities saw a significant increase in the number of newly established businesses, such as Bim Son, Tho Xuan, Nong Cong, Ha Trung, and Quan Hoa.

In 2024, Thanh Hoa province aims to establish at least 3,000 new businesses. To achieve this goal, relevant sectors and localities are continuing to focus on disseminating and effectively implementing central and provincial policies and mechanisms, with a focus on effectively implementing the Law on Supporting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and policies supporting business development in Thanh Hoa province for the period 2022-2026. Alongside this, they are also promoting administrative reform; implementing training and capacity-building programs for businesses; and providing support to the production and business sector.
