During the discussion and contribution of opinions on the political report, delegates expressed joy and enthusiasm at the results achieved by the Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province during the past term. Delegates believed that these results were due to the efforts of each official, member, and farmer, as well as the support from all levels and sectors in implementing models and projects through various support activities. Delegates also contributed many opinions to share valuable experiences and best practices in poverty reduction; patriotic emulation movements; economic development models; attracting and gathering members of the Provincial Farmers' Association; entrusted loan disbursement at the Social Policy Bank ; and mobilizing members to build new rural areas.
In addition, delegates clarified the coordination between Farmers' Association organizations and local Party committees and authorities; and voted to agree on 5 goals and 18 targets to strive for in the new term.
Within the framework of the Congress, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, 10th term, 2023-2028, held its first meeting to elect key positions. Accordingly, Ms. Vang Thi Binh , Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, 9th term, was re-elected to continue serving as Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term. The Congress also elected the Standing Committee; the Inspection Committee, the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association; and elected 11 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, 2023-2028 term .
