Localized heavy rainfall is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on slopes.

Southern Vietnam
- Sunny during the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms at night. Northeast wind, force 2-3.
- Lowest temperature 22-25 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 29-32 degrees Celsius.
Weather at sea
Strong winds and high waves at sea may affect shipping and other activities. Severe cold, frost, and ice may affect crops and livestock.
At sea, in the Gulf of Tonkin, strong northeasterly winds of force 6, gusting to force 7-8, will cause rough seas with waves 2-4m high; in the northern South China Sea (including the Hoang Sa archipelago), strong northeasterly winds of force 7, gusting to force 9, will cause very rough seas with waves 4-6m high.
In the central part of the East Sea, strong northeasterly winds of force 6-7, gusting to force 8-9, will cause rough seas; in the sea area from Quang Tri to Ca Mau and the western part of the South East Sea (including the sea area west of Truong Sa), northeasterly winds will gradually strengthen to force 6, sometimes force 7, gusting to force 8-9; the sea will be rough; wave height will be 4-6m.
