Binh Thuan province is about to open its first night food street in Phan Thiet.

In just over a month, the food street in the heart of Phan Thiet city will welcome visitors on weekend evenings, featuring nearly 100 stalls.

According to an announcement from the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City, the Phan Thiet Food Street will be piloted in September 2024. This activity aims to guide the development of a night-time economic model suitable to the advantages and practical conditions of Phan Thiet. Through this, it will introduce and promote traditional culinary tourism of Phan Thiet to domestic and international tourists.

The 2024 food street will be located on Tuyen Quang Street, Phan Thiet City, along the section from Nguyen Tat Thanh Street to Thu Khoa Huan Street, approximately 300 meters long. Operating hours will be from 5:30 PM to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

It is expected that there will be 50-100 stalls participating. These will be divided into areas: a food street with stalls selling food and OCOP products from Binh Thuan; and an area focusing on showcasing typical local dishes (street vendors, stalls, etc.) following the model of a traditional rural market...

Phan Thiet's food street promises to be a popular destination attracting tourists and locals alike to visit, eat, and enjoy the specialties of Binh Thuan province. It will also create additional tourism products for nighttime activities.
